Highly recommended

Liked: Lady at check in and breakfast was so helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was beautiful and lots of choice.Rooms were lovely Bar open until last orders too

Satisfied customer

Liked: Room and bathroom were if a good size. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Considering it was in centre of Ripon,there was no noise on a night.
Disliked: Excellent value for money. Only negative for me was the fact we got a cup of tea for breakfast rather than a pot of tea.

Liked: From entering the Royal Oak to Check In from that moment everything was far better than I had expected. Comfortable Room , Very friendly and professional staff and also helpful when I was seeking out information Nice selection of Beers too

Would definitely stay again

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, characterful building, comfy bed, great shower.
Disliked: Couldn't work out how to turn the radiator off.

Lovely hotel in a great...

Liked: It was the perfect location right in the town centre. Room was comfy.
Disliked: It’s an old building so the floor boards creaked a lot!! Also when we got in our room I found a dead small moth in the bath and a box of empty Stella cans in the wardrobe. Staff were very apologetic and assured us that the room had been cleaned.
