Passable

Liked: The room was great. Spacious with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Disliked: There was no hot water to shave or shower..When i complained on Sunday morning i was told there has been problems. I should have been warned before hand so i could chose. The amount i paid definitely needed hot water. I feel there should be a refund of some sort.

Location was ok wouldn’t stay...

Disliked: My wife being stared at every time we went through reception..people asleep on the sofa in reception is not very professional

Liked: The new manager, Andy,is extraordinary in providing a heartfelt welcome. He quickly checks you in and carries your luggage while showing you to your room. My room included breakfast with a cappuchino and offers no host snacks and meals throughout the day with a full bar. The beds were comfortable, and the location was fabulous.We came as a family this summer, like we have for the past three years. Each past year, there was a different manager and owner. This years experience was the best! Thank you, Andy, for all your assistance!
Disliked: The hotel began in 1690 and has been refurbished in the 70s and 2023. Rooms are dated, but we didn't mind. It was good value for the location.

Liked: The whole experience was good very polite staff. The location next to the harbour was amazing. The breakfast was good not great but good
Disliked: Tha sausage at breakfast was poor but overall good

Rude staff plenty of blood...

Liked: Getting another room without large blood stains on the mattress and the other thing I liked was leaving
Disliked: The rudest most abusive customer service agent on the phone ive ever had who told me I was fussy because I wanted my colleagues moving rooms due to there being a 6 foot blood stain on the mattress
