Great service and food throughout
Liked: This is a gem. Super located for a stopover if you’re travelling on the M5. Or for being close to Bristol and the airport. The great weather helped but the dining facilities and bar are great and people are very helpful. If you’re having breakfast try their cooked Farmhouse Breakfast. Ooof lovely.

Liked: The rooms were very clean and facilities modern and in keeping traditional style of the hotel.The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to help.
Disliked: The room on the top story was hot. We asked for the window to be opened beyond its secure setting. That was no problem at all to the friendly staff.

Disappointed with the cost of...
Liked: The staff were great well trained and polite . The food was good and the bed restful.. the views were great from the food terrace . Parking was good . Location and the look of the property were superb .
Disliked: The price . I was expecting more at £165.00 per night . I had a room on the top floor with no sea view and it was hot - stayed in June but no through draft , just one openable window with a security wire preventing it being opened fully and no Aircon, an oversight for a room right at the top of the hotel . I have had stays with better facilities at £ 100.00 per night . I was disappointed with that part of the stay . It definitely wasn't worth £165.00. travellers should also be aware that there is no lift in the property although the staff did help me with my luggage .

Liked: The manager contacted us in the afternoon to let us know the room door was damaged so we were unable to stay . Although quite late this did give us a few hours notice to find another hotel
Disliked: No help given to find alternative accommodation. No compensation received
