Exceptional

Liked: Beautiful room and well styled hotel. Good thought in planning room with mirrors to get ready and fresh milk option. Everything you need is in the room. Staff very friendly, especially Chris at breakfast who really makes you feel welcome.
Disliked: Room had double bed when it is large enough to accommodate a king.

Lovely stay at The Royal...

Liked: Lovely inn, very friendly staff, good views and amazing food! One of our two rooms was excellent and huge! They also made us a special dessert for a birthday!
Disliked: One of our two rooms had a very bad smell coming from the bathroom and the facilities were not great but the other room was great

Liked: The room was brilliant, everything was spotless, it felt like a step back in time, but also felt very modern! Everything was very comfortable, all areas were catered for. The food was very nice at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come and stay again when we are in the area. We did even look to see if another night was available, but the room was unfortunately (for us) already booked.
Disliked: If I'm being picky, I'd say the TV being restricted so you couldnt connect to your streaming services was a bit disappointing. Also if you were having a relax in the room in the early evening you will hear all the people noise from the outside bar area. But they do close at 11pm and we didn't hear anything when we went to bed.

Lovely hotel

Liked: The room was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. We also had a meal in the evening which was delicious. We gad a dink in the beer garden which has beautiful views.
Disliked: The only problem we had is that it was a double bed and we are used to a king-size

Liked: Fabulous, friendly and professional staff, lovely renovation. Very good food. Very tempted to return.
Disliked: Bed in room 10 could have been larger. This is the ONLY thing we could find to mark you down on and it wouldn't stop us coming back. Well done.

Nice hotel

Liked: Beautiful building and the rooms are thoughtfully decorated. The bedrooms are huge and bathrooms well appointed. Good restaurant.
Disliked: No lift and stairs to all bedrooms.

Liked: We stayed at the Royal Inn the night before a family wedding and we were delighted with it. From the warm and friendly welcome to the beautiful, spacious room with sea views (Room5) the stunning bathroom and the little extra touches, everything was perfect. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meal there. We would definitely stay again.
