Very poor accommodation for price.

Disliked: Room was very run down - hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Last minute stay - read previous review about same room whilst there, not a single thing mentioned previously has been sorted out.

Liked: the breakfast wasn't too bad.
Disliked: When we arrived the hotel restaurant and bar were closed. Apparently they don't open on a Sunday but when I booked with booking.com it did not mention this. The restaurant was open for two hours the next day in the evening but the bar was still closed. Our room - a super king sized bed with a king sized duvet. About 3 inches either side of bed showing. We complained about this but were told by reception they know about the duvet (long time) but nothing has been done about it. This lead to a very uncomfortable night. the following day our room wasn't cleaned , no new towels, no replacement teabags, milk or sugar, no bin emptied. We complained when we had to pay , looking for a small refund. Were told that all complaints are passed on but never acted upon. Complain to booking.com if you want compensation. I expect this not to be ignored by you. I believe we are good customers which you would like to keep...
