The Royal Hotel

We were a bit dubious when we arrived as there was scaffolding up which we weren’t informed about; however, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Liked: Friendly service; comfortable bed and room was very clean.
Disliked: A lot of stairs.

Liked: Central location . Breakfast was good .staff friendly
Disliked: Room had seen better days very basic .bed was single and could feel the springs . Ok for one night . Damp was visible on the blinds. Also I enjoy my coffee but I woukd have expected fresh coffee not instant.

Mostly fabulous

Liked: The location is next level. Just absolutely beautiful.Beds were comfy. And the family room is perfect size. Selection of channels on the tv was great too. The view from the window was just beautiful.
Disliked: Renovations we're going on but to be fair they had cut out the mesh outside the window of our room so we still had the most amazing view.But in the morning the damp smell from the bathroom was just unbearable. It wasn't there the evening before.

Liked: Buffet style helps elf breakfast with staff on hand if needed. LOCATION was great right opposite beach for strolls!
Disliked: The room unfinished decor were had moved radiator Curtains wold not close properly ad we're tatty! Bathroom dirty round edge of flooring and grout was filthy round bottom put of having shower. The mirrors had marks and needed replacing!
