Liked: Breakfast and staff in the restaurant
Disliked: Nothing

Disappointed, not as premium as...

Liked: Able to charge electric car for free.
Disliked: Public areas and room not as clean as expected in premium priced hotel. Maintenance needed. Rattly single glazed windows need to be replaced. Drab decor in corridors.

Food smells and hot room

Liked: Food was good
Disliked: Our bedroom was over the kitchens and outhouses. Constant drone of kitchen extractor fans and food smells in our room.we asked to be moved but could not. I do not believe that the hotel was full. Would not have booked this hotel if we had known

Liked: Great customer focused service - food was excellent and very well presented - room very well appointed and the pool was very inviting ! Very well kept gardens and everyone very helpful and friendly .
Disliked: Very little , only thing is Classic FM isnt available on the TV , fortunately Radio 3 was !

A quiet weekend in Ventnor

Liked: The room was spacious and very comfortable Pool area and bar very goodBreakfast was food, service excellent, you can opt to eat in conservatory or outside.
Disliked: The hotel looked very dated and all the communal areas need updating. Rather dark and dingy. Geranium restaurant seems dark and quiet, we felt like we went back in time; We preferred to eat outside in conservatory. Communication when asking for information could have been improved, we were not told of rockfall that happened in March blocking way to main high street where restaurants are. Despite being given a map of Ventnor and asking for directions to restaurants!!

A lovely visit

Liked: Beautiful location. Gentleman playing a grand piano during dinner The outside pool & gardens & Seating area under the awning are all as lovely as they were 20 years ago when I last visited Excellent check in & reception staff
Disliked: Not a dislike but would benefit from brightening & updating in the corridors & restaurant. I would love to have had breakfast on the terrace - They is no vibe in the restaurant: has very nice but serious staff who seem worried & bound by rules

Disliked: No air conditioning in the room and weather was very warm. A fridge in the room would have been helpful.
