Very nice and helped our...

Liked: The check in and the unexpected up grade was perfect. Breakfast was nice. Our stay was only one night but it was ok
Disliked: The decor was a bit tired The floors creaked a lot.

Lovely traditional hotel

Liked: Really friendly staff, lovely traditional style hotel, fantastic sea view from the room. Simple breakfast but had all you needed. Free parking right outside. Have stayed here on several occasions and would definitely come back.
Disliked: The bar closed at 10.45 even for residents, which was disappointing as we came back to the hotel at 10.30 after a meal looking for a nightcap, or two. There were only 3 little tiny uht milks in the room, as one had already been used, which meant we couldn't have a second cuppa, but I am nitpicking (I'm sure we could have asked for extra if we weren't lazy).

Disliked: Very dated decor and rooms. Breakfast £15.95 i thought was for two days amd turned out to be for one. Breakfast was help self and cold or very dry. Weatherspoons next door is better... night club at back dont stop till 4 in morning

Lovely Hotel

Liked: Location of the hotel was easy to find, parking was good, remember to log car registration number with reception.Friendly greeting at desk booking in.Room we had was a large size nice and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities.Beautiful beer garden at the rear of the hotel overlooking the sea.A word of warning though if eating outside the seagulls can be a problem here as in most seaside resorts.Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning buffet style.
Disliked: Unfortunately our room was located at the front of the hotel, despite the double glazing the traffic noise was very loud even with the thick curtains closed.There is also a cafe bar opposite which again was a cause for concern by midnight the music was as loud in the bedroom as it was standing by entrance to hotel, music was not finished until after 2am and the outside didnt really become quieter until nearly 3am.I did mention this the following morning to a member of staff, who said the hotel has raised concerns on this matter with relevant organisations. In the interim i think maybe the addition of triple glazing in some of the rooms opposite this bar maybe a worthy investment, as this is generally a lovely hotel.I will stay again but will only book if guaranteed a room at rear of hotel overlooking beer garden.

Disliked: Beds to soft pillows like wise changing beer pumps couldn't get any draught beers room to hot noise from back yard early morning 7.30 breakfast could be better sausages worst I've tasted
