For the money it was...

Liked: Location and I could park my car. A feat in itself in Oban.
Disliked: Very noisy. I was in fourth floor . At 6 in the morning people above started floor exercises.

Disliked: That I was not told prior to arriving it was bunk beds in the room

very disappointing and very poor.

Liked: clean, dining staff were attentive and i succeeded in getting a car parking space. its proximity to train station and the bay was prime reason i chose this hotel. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Our room, 417, had an intermitent noise of drip drip drip which caused us two sleepless nights. When i reported it, the reception chap simply apologised and offered no recompense. The bathroom sink couldn't be used properly because of a glass ledge above this sink preventing the sink's proper usage - very dangerous as one could easily bang your head on it when washing your face etc. Windows were closed and no AC. Also, the place is in dire need of refubishment to bring it into 21st century. Paint cracked and splitting with condensation in the bedroom window too. Threadbare carpeting on stair.

Enjoyable stay and w ould...

Liked: Wide choice.for buffet breakfast. Brightand airy room with fabulous sea view and also main street. 2 minute walk from bus station
Disliked: Perhaps access to a fan as it was very warm

Just stated overnight before long...

Liked: Convenient for the Mull ferry, staff lovely
Disliked: Little bit tired/dated

Comfortable rooms

Liked: Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good reasonable cost lunch
Disliked: It’s tired. Worn carpets.
