Another great weekend in Oban,...

Liked: Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty drawers and storage space. Tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Bathroom clean with walk in shower and plenty towels/ shampoo etc. Meals in the spacious lounge bar were excellent and average prices. Guitar man on Fri night and accordion on Sat night. Music appreciated by all, including bus load of Belgium Cousins. The Royal Hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere and looks after its visitors - why we keep coming back !
Disliked: Bedside lamp and wall light in room would not light ? WHB taps and flush handle on WC kept coming undone. Cistern continued to run after flush, and needed flush handle to be raised to stop water. Shower head in bathroom is fixed directly above on ceiling. OK if meaning to wash hair, otherwise, drenched. Minor points which handyman could correct, but an annoyance to the customer.
