Liked: It was a disaster, Hotel (I don't like anything about the Hotel)
Disliked: I had a very disappointing experience at the Royal Hotel in Purfleet. Upon arrival, the front desk staff took a photocopy of my photo ID and asked me to check in online while I was already at the property, requesting that I enter my bank details as part of the process. I found this request extremely excessive and felt very uncomfortable sharing such sensitive information, especially considering the condition of the hotel.The room I was given (Room 41, downstairs) had a strong, damp smell, and the bathroom had drainage issues; the water wouldn't go down properly. The overall cleanliness and condition of the place were unacceptable.Given the poor state of the room and the intrusive information requests, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my enemies. Collecting personal and financial information this way, particularly for a place in such disrepair, is completely unreasonable.

Liked: Plenty of parking staff on reception and bar staff excellent. Got building works going on didn't affect stay when finished think the place will be top notch lovely beer garden facing the river loved it
Disliked: Very disappointed that they don't do a breakfast on a Sunday 3 people staying and only 3 tea bags milk and sugar that's 1 cup each. Can get more at reception but think they could put at least 4 of everything in room instead of having to go downstairs (2 flights).

Disliked: From the outside, the hotel looks like it’s been in a bomb site. No breakfast available but it states it does on booking.com. Windows dirty, bath panel fallen off, some surface areas very dirty, carpets stained etc
