Do not book.Too many issues...
Liked: Staff very friendlyCleaners very helpful
Disliked: Dirty everywhere. Bath panel kept coming off, exposing filthy areas under bath. Carpets extremely grubby & stained. There is no mention of the hotel being under refurbishment. Exterior of hotel very shabby, scaffolding, cement, wheelbarrow etc around the hotel. Outside walks of hotel is falling apart. Needs a refurbished if they want to charge them prices that I paid. No breakfast but it did not say that in the booking

Comfortable
Liked: Was clean And the bed were very comfortable. I had great sleep. Thank you

Disappointed
Liked: View was okay
Disliked: Room needed a paint marks all over the walls bath panel was falling apart and off. Bath had water stains on it. Pictures of the room made it look better than it was. All scaffolding outside the front. Bathroom walls where dirty too

Disappointing
Disliked: No breakfast available, as was promised. The shower did not work properly, so they gave us another room. The WiFi was impossible to connect to, and when we were connected, we could be kicked off very quickly again.

Appalling customer service, filthy hotel...

Disliked: I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. When we arrived, the place looked like a building site — there was absolutely no mention of ongoing works on the hotel’s website, which is misleading and unacceptable.The website also boasts a bar and restaurant, but in reality, the menu is extremely limited to what appears to be microwave meals. We checked into our room to find it reeking of drainage issues and absolutely filthy. Worse still, there were rodent traps placed around the back door of the room, which is extremely concerning for health and safety.The shower was faulty and didn’t drain properly, causing the bathroom floor to flood. I slipped on the wet floor and hit my head, which was both painful and dangerous.After check-in, we tried to relax by getting a coffee in the bar. When I asked for a cappuccino, the staff member told me they could make it but wouldn’t advise drinking it — not exactly confidence-inspiring.Since the menu was unappealing, we ordered a Chinese takeaway. When we went to reception to ask for two plates and some cutlery so we could eat in our room, the man at reception literally laughed at us and said “no sorry.” When I asked if he was serious, he told us to ask the bar staff, who then rudely refused as well, stating they were serving food until 7 p.m. and wouldn’t provide plates or cutlery. This is shockingly poor and unhelpful customer service.While walking back to our room, the entire corridor stank of weed, which made it clear that other guests were openly smoking drugs on the premises — seemingly with no issue from the hotel management. Yet somehow, they refused a simple request for plates and cutlery so we could eat properly.To make matters worse, we were here to celebrate our 5-year anniversary — a much-needed break from our children — and this experience has completely ruined what should have been a special occasion.
