Liked: Clean, clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast.
Disliked: Being unable to close the outside window means you get a lot of street noise through the night.

Great stay, friendly staff, nice...

Liked: The grandeur of the hotel has been maintained on the outside while having received a modern and stylish upgrade on the inside. The hotel is ideally located. Right in the highstreet, a stones throw away from Cardiff Castle, restuarants and pubs. Although located in the centre, the nearby car park makes it very accessible and - using the hotel voucher - quite cheap.
Disliked: The layout of the hotel is somewhat odd. We entered through the front and had to take some stairs to get to the lifts in order to get to reception. We only later found out that there is a way to avoid the stairs using the back-door.
