Superb
Liked: Fabulous location, comfortable lounges with complimentary tea and coffee available. The bed was very comfortable and although the room was very hot due to the nice weather, we asked for a fan and were given one immediately. Lovely little courtyard at the back with seating.
Disliked: Parking is available at the back of the property, however we were informed this couldn't be reserved prior to our stay. On arrival we asked if there was a space available and was immediately asked if we had reserved a space? Luckily there was space for us to park at a cost of £12.50 per day on top of the room price. I feel the parking should be free on a first come first served basis. The spaces are also very small, especially for a bigger 4x4 like ours.

Very good
Liked: The bed was clean and comfortable. Walk in shower. Location near the harbour.Checkin was easy and quick when I arrived at 6pm on a Saturday.
Disliked: It was described as garden view but was mostly views of the rear of other houses so you need to keep curtains closed for total privacy. The shower was not very powerful although worked well enough. I personally didn't mind at all but it is on the top floor so up 4 flights of steps which are not too steep.

Pleasant
Liked: Warm welcoming staff, fantastic view over the Harbor from the bedroom (room 16)Charming layout of the building
Disliked: Lack of food and drinks, of course not a problem but there was no fridge to store our own (it’s summer)The shower had very poor pressure making it more of a French wash.Room was very dusty.

I'd stay again!
Liked: I was in a single room at the top of the building (up three sets of quite steep stairs). The room and bathroom were both small, not enough room to swing a cat! But the room was clean, cute, comfy and cosy. There was a kettle and tea & coffee plus a hairdryer and a fan which was definitely needed for the heat of the past few days. Every hallway, of which there are many, has bookshelves full of books which I assume are there for you to read as well as a small selection of books in the room itself. Every hallway has an ironing board (I don't recall seeing an iron but I wasn't particularly looking for one.)And the free WiFi stayed connected whenever I was in the hotel.
Disliked: I never travel without my toiletries so it didn't make much difference to me, but the free toiletries provided were two small wrapped hand soaps, not shampoo and shower gel etc.On my second night the TV signal was lost for every channel except a few BBC channels. The window, unless I'm mistaken, was a single windowpane rather than double glazing so on the Friday night I could hear loud music coming from somewhere down the road. Until I put my ear plugs in.
