Surrounded by peaceful gardens and steeped in history dating back to 1147, it’s a refreshing contrast to the city's buzz — yet close enough to easily catch your favorite shows.

Why Concert-goers love it

Being just steps from Limehouse DLR Station means quick trips to major venues around Canary Wharf and Tower Hill. The peaceful environment is perfect for winding down after a high-energy show. Plus, the hotel's flexible vibe and reliable transport links make getting in late a breeze.

Who this Hotel is great for

Food and Drink Options

Start your day right with a hearty continental breakfast featuring fresh fruit, croissants, meats, and cheeses. There's also a cozy daytime café on-site — perfect for a pre-show coffee or a light bite. While there’s no late-night dining, Limehouse has several eateries within a short walk.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself maintains a tranquil atmosphere (no on-site bar or live music), its location means you’re just a quick ride or Uber away from vibrant bars, clubs, and lounges across Canary Wharf and Shoreditch.

What People Say

Guests rave about the calm atmosphere, beautiful gardens, and superb transport connections. Many highlight the friendly staff and the hotel's historic charm, making it a memorable and relaxing stay.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention missing having a TV in the room, and others note that the peaceful, retreat-like vibe might feel a bit too quiet for those seeking a lively, social hotel experience. Also, parking is available but managed externally, so it’s best to plan ahead.

Oasis of calm in London....

Liked: The outside space, the beautiful, calm garden. The lounge with a fire was a great, unexpected bonus.
Disliked: The bathroom had areas of black mould which let the room down.

Comfortable, Peaceful Stay

Liked: The Venue was close to our concert venue, was very reasonably priced for the area/location, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom a little dated but not an issue, breakfast was a little disappointing as it was only continental option but had a good verity of pastries and breads and also offered Gluten free option which was nice to see, the venue was lovely and staff were very helpful, the chapel on the grounds was beautiful at night very peaceful, I am not religious but it is a lovely space for quiet contemplation if you need it during your stay, Also to add they do ring the bell at 8am in the chapel just to make you aware but it did not bother me as I was already awake but if this would bother you then I would advise against staying here, please be respectful if you do stay and be mindful of the setting that you are in, this isn't somewhere to stay if you've been out partying and you are going to be loud, but if you enjoy a little peace in a busy city then this is a good option, I would definitely stay again.

Superb

Liked: The room was so clean and fresh, loved the decoration. Shower was gorgeous and warm. Such a great choice of breakfast; pastries, toast, fruits, cold meats. Such quiet and peaceful surroundings. Was also able to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in the sun in the gardens. Really easy access to the DLR.
Disliked: Could have done with another pillow but I'm sure I could have asked for another and it would have been supplied. There was someone knocking on a neighbouring door very early morning but both of these didn't really affect our stay as everything was so fantastic.
