Nice hotel let down by...
Liked: Very friendly staff. Good bar and lounge
Disliked: Our room was disappointing. Too hot above the kitchen. Too noisy from the kitchen extraction fans which brought kitchen smells into the room. Restaurant menu was poor. No water in the room.

A reasonable and enjoyable stay
Liked: I stayed here at the end of march for one night. Overall my experience and time here was good. Friendly staff, good service, a decent room. I slept well. Bed was comfortable. Had everything you could need for a short stay. Good location. Reasonable WiFi connection. An ok sized bathroom and reasonable storage like drawers and a built in cupboard/closet. I visited the 62 bank for dinner and breakfast. I Would happily stay here again and recommend to others :)
Disliked: I did notice a few things that could’ve done with some touch ups or maintenance within the room, but just general maintenance or cosmetic things.

Noisy front facing rooms.
Liked: Very clean and you can get late night drinks.
Disliked: Front facing rooms are very noisy at night as there is a taxi rank outside the hotel. Lots of shouting and screaming from bladdered youngsters. Which is no fault of the hotel. Shower water pressure needs a vast improvement especially on the 2nd floor!

Liked: Charming hotel, lovely people, attentive to needs, well run.
Disliked: The electrical plugs needed for phone & ipad charging isn’t close to bed. That’s it. Great place. CLEAN.

A bit of luxury at...
Liked: Sumptuous hotel and bar downstairs. Very friendly staff. Lift! Although there are a few steps on each level. Reasonable snacks menu. Able to relax fully after a long days traveling. Bed small but comfortable. Chair in room. Desk. No view in the room we selected (small double)
Disliked: Step up into bathroom. Shower over bath a minor inconvenience.

Liked: Beautiful old Hotel, amazing restaurant. Very good food,all excellent staff very helpful, very friendly throughout
Disliked: A little noisy in the morning thanks to gulls and neighbours. Clearly not within hotel’s control though
