Overpriced and not conducive to...

Liked: Breakfast was nice and all the staff we interacted with were lovely and helpful. The restaurant is a great space and generally the hotel public areas are well maintained and clean.
Disliked: Airconditioning in room 105 was not fit for purpose as it was extremely noisy. Room 108 had a lot of external noise until 2am which meant that it was impossible to sleep. Other family members in the twin room found their room to be too small for 2 people. Dinner was uninspiring and did not represent value for money. Cost per room was expensive compared to a Premierinn which would have provided more space and better air conditioning.

Lovely place to stay

Liked: Good location, nice feel to the hotel and helpful staff.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there was limited opening window and no air conditioning in our room so the room was quite hot.

Lovely, well kept hotel in...

Liked: Room was large, modern and clean. Very good value for money. Nice bar area adjacent to the restaurant with an up-market feel
Disliked: Restaurant menu was a bit limited and pricey. There were fixed price specials but these still seemed expensive. We had the Sunday Carvery which was good value for money.

Impressive hotel (but go to...

Liked: This is a really good looking interesting building steeped in history All of the communication from booking to checking in was really welcoming, friendly and helpful We had a very comfortable room and the bar and restaurant area are lovely Had a nightmare parking initially (typical busy England holiday period) but the hotel had sent alternative options in their fab communications, however again same firm used the day before in Worcester was £10 cheaper for the same period It really is an impressive building
Disliked: The bar prices, we stayed the night before in another town hotel and the drinks were more than 50% cheaper The bath and shower were really intensely hot
