Wonderful relaxing break

Liked: Beautiful hotel, lovely gardens, you feel you are abroad in the gardens having cocktails. Very relaxing which is what we needed.
Disliked: Slight chaotic breakfast service.

Liked: Beautiful Georgian property in the heart of the Royal Crescent with gorgeous gardens and outdoor seating area
Disliked: On a very few occasions, the service was not up to standard with orders not being completed or incorrect, but the staff are always very pleasant and helpful

Iconic -- but showing some...

Liked: Obviously this place is iconic and has the wow factor upon arrival. The public spaces in the main building are fabulous, the gardens are amazing, and the breakfast room, bar and restaurant were all great. We did really enjoy the breakfast each morning (the yogurt in particular was probably the best I've ever had anywhere!).
Disliked: For the price I paid, I thought the room was pretty average. Not huge (we booked one of the larger suites as well). Never seemed to have enough towels or washcloths (I had to ask for more), there was some wear and tear, and there was a insufficient storage. The spa area was rather disappointing. The gym doesn't open until 08:00, so I actually ran to the local Pure Gym instead (0.5mile away) and worked out there. There was a big flood in the ladies changing room when I did try to go to the spa area for some relaxation, so I couldn't go. The toilet in the ladies changing room was working, but the seat had completely broken free so you had to do the old 'hover' method. Really not what I expected.

So lucky to be able...
