Super friendly staff and great...

Liked: Has a lovely living room style communal area to relax in with superb views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to park our bikes in the lobby as it was quiet. Felt very family friendly with our 3 year old.
Disliked: Rooms are a little dated but have character with good amount of space.

Liked: Location is lovely. Building is lovely.
Disliked: Room was filthy! Cobwebs which had obviously been there for a long time. It needed a good hoover as bits were on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom walls had splatters of toothpaste - not ours! Toilet needed a proper clean around the back of the seat. It just felt and looked dirty. Bed was clean.

Liked: The location is fantastic, we had a room at the front of the buikding over looking the lock. The staff are very helpful, friendly and we would definitely stay again. The food was very good and reasonably priced! Thank you for you hospitality.
Disliked: The decor in the room/bathroom was looking a bit tired and we had a bit of an issue with the shower water going hot and not so hot, but I like a cooler shower so no problem for me, hubby got a bit of a shock. But would rather have it that way than scolding hot which has been our experience at another hotel in Oban. Please don't let that put you off because you would miss out on a real treat!

Liked: After a month travelling through Scotland have to say this was the best breakfast we had. Had dinner in the hotel as well and the Chef was over-the-top amazing. Staff was extreme helpful with local attractions.
