Disliked: No tv, it wasn’t until we arrived that we saw notices around the hotel to say the tvs weren’t working. This is information that should have been shared in advance or even at check in. The 13m2 room was tiny, the bed against the wall and after speaking to many guests it seems the photos are very misleading there is only actually 2 rooms which look like that, the rest are shabby small dark and dated. Carpet covered in stains, no hair dryer in room and lamp broken. Glad we didn’t get breakfast as that looked terrible too. No hot option. Bar was not open, there was no entertainment and staff nowhere to be seen.

Liked: Friendly staff, great location, only a 5 minute walk to the sea front.
Disliked: Booked a large double room, given a tiny room with a double bed in the corner and a noisy extractor next to the window. I complained at reception and was given a triple room (1 x single bed, 1 x double) a much better room but one side of the double bed base had collapsed, couldn't be bothered to complain again, so I slept in the single bed, my wife had the double. The shower rail was loose so had to be very careful when moving it. Hotel has two lifts, the one we needed didn't work. Paid extra for the breakfast when I booked up, we like a nice full english when on holiday but what did they give us, continental breakfast, a complete waste of money.

Liked: The location was good for places such as the tower and the winter gardens.
Disliked: Hotel was so shabby. The window wasn't water proof, so when it rained, the water came into the room. The shower was basically a drip. There was a 2 inch gap under the door into the room, so you had the light and noise from the corridor. The bed sheets and mattress were dirty.

Disliked: Lift is broken down at the moment. Room was rather small for 2 people.
