Enjoyable

Liked: Nothing. The hotel cancelled the booking. This happened las year also.
Disliked: I booked the Royal Alexandra Hotel through booking.com and prior to my departure I was advised that the hotel would not be open and I was offered an alternative over a mile away on a take it or leave it basis. I had booked with this hotel last year and was advised that they would not be open but was offered the hotel next door which was fine. this year the hotel offered being further away meant that I had to purchase a travel pass to commute from the hotel to where I wanted to be. I will never book the Royal Alexandra again and now have doubts about using Booking.com again in the light of my experience in the last two years

Never again.
Liked: The breakfast was great.
Disliked: Room was cramped. Shower was freezing. (Complained several times to no avail). Receptionist stunk of b o. No bar (was promised last year it would be open as last year it was closed for refurbishment), 5 years on the trot 12 of us have been using this hotel and it has rapidly went downhill over the last two years. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Never again
Liked: The breakfast was excellent. Its a shame nothing else was.
Disliked: Where do I start , we have been coming here for years and this place isnt a patch on how it used to be. Never returning
