The Royal Albion was originally built in 1760 and Charles Dickens was a regular visitor. The famous Bleak House Dickens' home in Broadstairs is within sight. The rear gardens lead out onto the town's seafront promenade with direct access to the sandy beaches. All of the 21 rooms are en suite and each room has satellite TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Each room has a view of the historic town or of the bay. Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in the entire hotel. Restful and convenient for walking...

Liked: We were able to bring our two dogs with us.It was right in the middle of the town, close to plentiful restaurants and the seafront. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

Poor

Liked: Worse was the man incharge of breakfast room! We reached breakfast room at 9-30 am on our first breakfast dayI was told that breakfast finishes at 10 am, while I was to pick a glass of extra fruit! This was our first day out of three day stay! Afterwards, each morning we reached breakfast room at 9 am but very uncomfortable with the incharge hanging around! Each other day we didn’t enjoy the hotel, apart from broken window signs and builders working next door, but that didn’t bother us! The reception staff was always pleasant!
Disliked: If served tea or coffee in pots on the table then why not milk? When asked the incharge he said pick up a jug from the other room! In general the breakfast arrangement was very poor! The room had no milk tablets! Each time one needed to make tea one had to go down to the reception to ask for milk! For three days going down and up from 2 nd floor to fetch milk was too much, as we are 80 years old! Surely milk capsules are available in the market? Broadstairs is a beautiful sea side, we have been to all the three sisters In Kent! Love Kent!
