Perfectly situated overlooking Viking Bay

Liked: Perfectly situated hotel at the sea end of High street, with our deluxe room overlooking the Viking Bay. Very comfortable beds and the room was newly refurbished in natural tones. Breakfast had many choices and excellen croissants.
Disliked: Weirdly, the bathroom light switched itself on a couple of times in the middle of the night. Bit spooky. Pity that view was interrupted by a lineup of marketing flags of beer.

Great apart from the decoration...

Liked: The room had a beautiful sea view which was why we booked it and it was a great pleasure in the morning when we opened the curtains.
Disliked: We thought the room was quite expensive. The paintwork was flaking and wearing off in places e.g. in the bathroom and to the main bay window. For the cost of the room we expected the decoration to be immaculate.
