The hotel on the outskirts of West Chiltington a charming village boasting 3 vineyards where award-winning wine is produced. Roundabout Hotel serves fine food with a traditional twist in its restaurant with ingredients sourced locally. Very good

Liked: Quiet and comfortable, good WiFi and TV, decent food and good continental breakfast, plenty of parking for my large van
Disliked: Surcharge on evening meal.

Thank you for my stay....

Liked: Friendly staff. Spacious room. Good views. Quiet. Great shower. Complimentary tea and coffee and biscuits.
Disliked: Breakfast- wasn't very many selection of packaged cereals - only 3 porridges on offer packaged. Not much fruit on offer.

Liked: The room was great. Tee food in the restaurant was god also
Disliked: The room was on the ground floor with the window overlooking the carpark. Could do with Air con if guest are concerned have an open window on Ground floor.

Pleasant

Liked: The dinning & lounge were light & Modern.Parking was plenty. Situated in a quiet part of village.Staff were pleasant & polite. Evening meal was good & well done. Pleasant enough.
Disliked: The bedroom was a bit old fashioned, dark & too big for one person, not to my taste. You couldn't look out of the windows when sitting as too low. I had to leave early due to family situation so didn't have breakfast so can't make a comment.

The stay was OK but...

Liked: The room was nice, a bit better than we expected. It was quite noisy in the evening/early night as there was quite a bit of chatter etc from the residents lounge below, no door on the lounge to block the noise. But overall it was OK.
Disliked: I thought the evening meal was just OK, we had the Wagu steak (which I am not sure was actually Wagu) and it tasted more like average rump and at £29 it was not great value. I booked a room to included breakfast which turned out to be a continential breakfast (which was a disappointment at £12.50 each) so I upgraded to a full English at a further £12.50, I would have thought they would have made some concession bearing in mind I paid for the breakfast.

A wonderfully unique property and...

Liked: Really pleased we chose to stay here or we would never have appreciated the story behind the Roundabout village. It’s lovely to stay somewhere unique.
Disliked: The fact I had assumed it was on a Roundabout not in a lovely village called Roundabout. Silly me.
