Central location and would return...

Liked: Food was amazing! We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and were really impressed with everything.
Disliked: Room was dated and sofa bed that our children slept on was not comfortable.

Liked: Bathroom had been redone and was clean but no refills for the limited toiletries. Room and bed were OK.
Disliked: The redecoration of the building had not been completed. Sash window frames rotten and a mess. Let's hope they are trashed and reinstalled very soon.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous dinner and breakfast too. Room was lovely, and the location was perfect for where we needed to go.

Liked: Excellent location to the York Barbican with it only being 5 minute walk away. Good location to the town centre also only 10 mins walk away. Clean, spacious rooms.
Disliked: Can be a bit noisy as room was overlooking busy road

Liked: Lovely staff, food great for breakfast and dinner
Disliked: We enjoyed our stay apart from the bed which was comfortable but very creaky when you moved/turned over on it

Great locale, friendly staff.

Liked: Lovely pub and good accommodation. Staff at the bar were delightful. Breakfast was great albeit very slow service.
Disliked: Breakfast service could be much faster; 40 mins and eggs still weren’t ready. Had to leave to catch train.
