OK stay in a hotel...

Liked: The bed was comfortable, location was ok.
Disliked: Our room on the 6th floor really needs a renovation. The furniture was old, the night stand was positioned 2-3 feet from the back wall so you could (barely) access the extra outlet for your phone. There were 2 outlets near the desk but there were 2 of us and we needed more outlets. Obviously this was a problem for others as the poorly positioned night stand indicated. The bathroom is old and again, needs renovation - after a shower you have to prop the door open (as it closes immediately when released) in order to get some of the steam out and mirrors useable. I ordered breakfast one morning - a yogurt bowl - only to see everyone else served. Finally got there attention and they brought me the wrong order - unfortunately I didn't have to time for them to once again place another order so I ordered a toasted english muffin to go. When I opened the box to eat it - it was raw - not toasted, no butter, no spreads - bad service. One night we went to the bar after a dinner event and it was full - no place to "perch" and no place to get a drink unless you wanted to take it up to your room. The dining room bar was closed.

Well below the standard expected

Liked: Position was fine and general facilities were okKelly on the reception was very helpful and understanding
Disliked: Room very old fashioned. Room nit serviced on 2 consecutive days. Central light switch not working. Response from manager poor rather than properly addressing the issues he simply sought to deal with this by crediting one night. I was not looking to save money- just to get what i had paid for
