Disliked: Breakfast - hot buffet but it was not enough hot during the weekend . Channel 7 was not on the guide except 7flix or 7Two?

Beautiful, historical place to stay...

Liked: Love the old world atmosphere, beautiful gardens, cosy bedroom, clean communal bathroom, well supplied with toiletries and towels, love the communal areas for relaxing and socialising. Great service by all staff members. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Disliked: Nothing.

Room not ready at check...

Liked: Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: I arrived at 1:15pm hoping for an early check in but the room wasn’t ready. That’s fine but staff then advised that I couldn’t leave my bags with them for them to deliver to the room which was frustrating as I had a family event to get to. Then at 2pm I was told that the cleaners have only now gone into my room and will be another 10minutes! I ended up getting the keys at 2:20pm! I’ve never had a hotel experience where the room isn’t ready at check in time. Especially when the staff knew I had been there waiting for i45mins prior. Very disappointing.

Disliked: Poorly maintained, dirty, needs upgrading badly, communal toilets, uncomfortable beds and small rooms, bad smell in the rooms,

Exceptional

Cozy, clean and comfortable

Liked: Such a cozy building with so much character. Each space is well thought out. Plenty of public areas to chat or read. 24/7 coffee and tea station was a lovely addition. Very convenient to have breakfast and dinner available.
Disliked: Would be nice to have a map of the property to see where to walk.
