The Ro Hotel is a new hotel in the heart of Bowness-on Windermere. More than just a hotel we are an all-day destination for tourists and locals a place that you can go with friends for a coffee or lunch with the family after a trip to Beatrix Potter World. A place that is unexpected in its design but familiar in its northern service. Somewhere connected to the town people a hub or local culture and a showcase for its arts from yesterday today and tomorrow. The Lake District is our place. We love it here. The way strangers say hello to each other on their morning walks. The incredible landscape that takes your breath away no matter if you are seeing it for the first time or the millionth. As a dog friendly hotel we would like to make you aware that there are only 10 pet friendly rooms in our property. Mixture of Standard Double Rooms and Deluxe King Rooms only. All of the pet friendly rooms are allocated on a ground floor. Limited availability. Please contact hotel directly to check the availability.

Disliked: Seem to be unable to keep any lights on overnight (eg bathroom) either all on or all off.Parking charge of £7.50 which you’re not told about until leaving

Nice place for a night

Liked: Good beds and a nice view. They kindly let us park before check in time.
Disliked: Other than full English, which most people love, there wasn't much nice healthy stuff other then melon wedges ( the fruit salad was not freshest looking) .
