Expensive, slightly above basic near...
Liked: This hotel has a good view of the lake, but not from our room.
Disliked: This hotel is on a steep hill, we were charged to park the car overnight. The room was not very large with only a shower and no bath. The room was next to a staircase with other guests being very noisy going up and down, We had a twin room, the floor by my bed was on a slope as it was very well worn. I will not be booking this hotel again as it was not worth the cost.

Had a lovely bank holiday...
Liked: We extremely enjoyed our stay here! All of the staff were lovely, helpful and talkative and one of the managers recognised our accent and were so lovely with us. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was to use the pool and we did. We were surprised when there was a hot tub too! This was amazing and so relaxing . I had a massage (for an hour and half) - one of the best massages I’ve ever had! You do have to pay for parking but was much cheaper than the prices for parking at other hotels in the area. It was really busy on the car parks but there are two areas to park and when we arrived the manager was outside helping people to park and making sure they could park somewhere on site. Breakfast was great - what you would normally get as choices in a hotel. We stayed in a Biskey Lake View room . The room was very spacious with an amazing view. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was spacious and brilliant. We used the hotel bar every evening (after returning from the town) and it was a good atmosphere and a great area to enjoy a drink.Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again! It is in a great location!
Disliked: Amazing location but we weren’t a fan of the hill to walk back to the hotel after an evening out. There were little parts in our room (mainly painting) which needed a little maintenance but this was nothing major and didn’t bother us at all.

Very good
Liked: Location was great, 3mn walk from the lively center of the town. The room was big, very well equipped and we had a nice view from the bedroom. The bathroom was also very practical with a very good shower. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice, fresh fruits, fresh bread, good coffee.
Disliked: We had to pay for parking which was not included in the price of room and breakfast. The bedroom was too warm when we arrived. The lift to the first floor was out of service.

Excellent hotel just a short...
Liked: Couldn't fault our room - room 109, the Family Lakeside View. Room and bathroom were huge. Bathroom very modern and spotless. Kingsize bed, really comfortable. The sofa bed was tucked away in an 'alcove' with its own wall mounted TV. This arrangement worked perfectly for us. Ours was only a one night stay but there was plenty of storage space should we have needed it. Free bottles of water provided and a good choice of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. You won't be disappointed! Breakfast buffet was also excellent - full range of cooked items, cereals, fruit and pastries. We didn't use any other facilities.
Disliked: Car parking is an issue, there is insufficient capacity and spaces cannot be reserved. We were lucky to take the last space available on a Saturday evening.
