Disliked: Can improve on breakfast and menu of the restaurant.

OK for a short stay.

Liked: Well cooked breakfast with a nice view of the river while eating.
Disliked: Musty smell in some of the corridors.

Enjoyable stay

Liked: Close proximity to town centre. Beautiful location on the river. Spacious rooms
Disliked: Decor in bedrooms needs a little updating but it was clean and had very comfortable beds.

Great Stay and would return

Liked: The hotel was located on the riverside hence the name, great view from the window. After the days activities, returning to the hotel and going swimming and using the steam and sauna room was a great finish to the day. The fact that it was open till 10am makes it more accessible.

Not as advertised — hot...

Liked: We had a large room for our family. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was tidy with a bathtub.
Disliked: The rooms didn’t have any air conditioning. We stayed in summer, so it was very hot. To make things worse, they turned the heating on at set times during the night. We stayed with our 6-year-old, so he was up all night.The hotel is not as advertised. It’s old and run down. There are no lovely views like they claimed. Our room faced the street, even though I paid for a river view—but I honestly didn’t care much, since the river was dry and mucky.Breakfast was okay, nothing special. I paid extra for it after reading the reviews, but it was disappointing.
