Liked: A very lovely little inn right by the Monnow River. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and we were very pleased with our visit.

Disliked: Disappointed with the breakfast on this visit given toast and no butter waitress kept disappearing into the kitchen couldn’t get anyones attention ended up not having any.

A good value stop over...

Liked: Staff were super friendly and helpful. Most of the beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious enough & had all expected facilities - a bit well used but clean. Sadly we didn't eat there so can't rate the food. Great location - near the town centre and on the Offas dyke path. For the price everything was exactly as expected.
Disliked: The single bed in room 8 or (or 9 can't remember which) needs a new mattress - it slopes on one side - extremely uncomfortable. Traffic outside was noisy (but can't be helped). Walls very thin so easy to hear neighbours TV & conversation. Bathroom fans noisy but nothing went on too late so not a big problem.
