Liked: Beautiful lobby. You can just see the history when you walk in
Disliked: We felt judged when we first walked in like we did not belong there by hotel staff

Great location, but average staff
Disliked: Slow elevators, staff were average ( gets the job done) but certainly not exceptional-expect more at Ritz but disappointing. Very expensive valet parking (~$55 including taxes/ night).

Awesome comfort in the room...
Liked: The bed and shower are AMAZING! The staff super friendly! Especially Mary at the front desk and Hakeem who grabbed me two ice cold bottles of water after my run. Thank you
Disliked: The "a la carte" feeling of internet and having to pay $5 for a cup of coffee to go because it was 9:30 am. "Free" coffee goes away at 9:00 am. Suggestion? Serve HOT coffee all day long and don't charge "extra" fro WiFi when the room is close to $450 a night

Disliked: Problems experienced at Ritz Carlton Philadelphia 1. Requested room with double beds?given room with king. Took two days to correct. 2. Requested ice?took over one hour and two additional calls to get. 3. Second day-- room not cleaned when we returned in afternoon. Finally cleaned at 5PM after call. 4. When request for room with double beds finally accomplished on third day, suitcases not moved to new room in spite of request to do so. 5. When suitcase transfer again requested, took over half hour to be accomplished. 6. Phone in new room not working. 7. Coffee-maker in new room not working. 8. Housekeeping came to room?unable to fix either. Said coffee would be sent up. 9. Promised coffee never arrived. 10. At check-out, I requested to speak to the manager?was told she was on phone and to wait. After 15 minutes I had to leave and was told the manager had left the office, but would email or phone me that day. 11. Manager has not contacted me since I left. SUMMARY: Very unsatisfactory Ritz Carlton experience On a more positive note, the Concierges, especially James and Mark, were outstanding and very helpful.

Disliked: I was told that because I booked through booking that king rooms were fully committed to direct Ritz booking customers. Not what I expected.
