Excellent location and friendly hotel...
Liked: Location was bang in the center of town. We got the room with the view of the roundabout which was very beautiful.
Disliked: The hotel staff was very friendly but some people at the valet was unpolite and very inefficient. Despite calling 10 mins ahead for the car, I only got it after 30minutes as the valet guy made a mistake and had no feeling of guilt what so ever.

The Ritz was far from...
Liked: There were only 2 good things about the Ritz in Philadelphia. The location was very convenient and the staff was absolutely wonderful to work with.
Disliked: Unfortunately this hotel did not meet my expectations of a Ritz Carlton. It lacked luxury and class for the amount of money spent. The furniture in the room was beat up and scratched. The room was also rather smal and had an odd layout. Our room was also next to one of the stairwells and staff would start banging that door every few minutes starting at 7am. Room service hours were limited and food was insanely expensive. The "restaurant" in the lobby is more a bar lounge than a restaurant. Food was decent but overpriced. No tablecloth or placemat, just a bare table. I remember going to breakfast at the old Ritz location in Philadelphia and this doesn't even begin to compare.
