Beautiful facility, average service
Liked: The property re-opened two weeks back and is a beautiful setting. It is a beautiful property and the staff was very nice.
Disliked: I paid full retail for a suite and was never told that two restaurants and the spa would not re-open until September. This is why I rated this so poor on value This is unacceptable for a Ritz. This is the most I have paid for a three night stay and got half of the amenities!!! Also, the front desk would never answer the phone when called. Another unacceptable characteristic for a Ritz.

Excellent Resort: Friendly Staff, Comfortable Rooms; Online Communication Needs Improvement
Liked: The Ritz's staff deserve commendation for their exceptional friendliness and professionalism. From the bartenders to the food service staff, everyone demonstrated a dedication to outstanding customer service. Despite some areas of the resort being under renovation, the operational bars and restaurants did not disappoint, providing excellent food in an inviting ambiance. Despite minor inconveniences, our stay was generally enjoyable, with the resort's physical service quality proving commendable. It was clear that the staff were making the best of the transition period after the hurricane, which contributed positively to our experience. The Ritz, with its reputation for excellence, delivered a largely satisfying stay, and its physical services lived up to our high expectations.
Disliked: There were a few technical issues, such as inoperative room phones and malfunctioning televisions, which were somewhat disruptive. Our final night was marred by an unfortunate room service experience, where the food arrived after an excessive delay and was of poor quality, particularly the undercooked flatbread. The most significant shortcoming, however, was the Ritz's subpar online communication. Despite several attempts to contact them through different digital platforms, including Booking.com, a provided email, and the Marriott Bonvoy app, all went unanswered. This necessitated resorting to a phone call to address queries, a surprisingly antiquated approach for a prestigious corporation like Marriott in the digital age. The lack of responsiveness could have been cause for cancellation and points to a need for significant improvement in their digital communication strategy.
