Very disappointing for NYE

Liked: Just ok, nothing special , basically average , outdoor beautiful, Gabby’s nice , linger longer excellent steak!
Disliked: Chaos, NYE gala very disappointing, too many kids and unsupervised by parents. For the pricing there should be separate spaces for kids NYE vs adult NYE celebration.

Superb hotel for a relaxing...

Liked: This is a wonderful hotel in a stunning location right by Lake Oconee and surrounded by forest trails that provide great walks. Fantastic facilities both in the room and throughout the hotel and lots of activities on offer. Very friendly, helpful staff in all areas of the hotel and restaurants. Amazing spa facilities and highly skilled therapists for both massage and facials.
Disliked: The gym has good equipment and it is a large space but the AC is limited and the room gets very hot during an extended workout. We would have liked another lunch option to mix up our mid-day dining - only Gaby's was open during our week day stay at this time of year.

Disliked: Unfriendly staff and awful checking exp. Booked queen room with two beds and got one bed instead
