Short Staycay Impressions

Liked: To walk into the room and have the blinds roll up and reveal the amazing view is a great way to start any staycation. Room was felt fresh and spacious. Bathroom area was layed out well, bath and shower were indulgent. The heavy doors in the room gave a feeling of pleasant solitude ans security. For a hotel of this caliber the minibar wasn't ridiculously overpriced. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, especially at breakfast. Maybe it was because it was a Monday, but the breakfast buffet didn't feel like you were crammed in and sitting on top of each other like other places. The pool looked very inviting, even on a cold, wet windy day, given it was heated. The location of the hotel is exceptional.
Disliked: Not so much didn't like, just observations. The blinds, particularly the sheers, were crumpled. Other hotels have a delightful fragrance in the lobby, this didn't. There didn't seem to movie options in the room. The brand of soap, shampoo and conditioner wasn't overly appealing, but that's a personal preference.
