Good place to stay, but...

Liked: Great location, plenty of parking and a nice patio in back with a fire pit. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Happy hour with drinks and snacks was very nice. We also appreciated the fruit that was available in the coffee room.
Disliked: The interiors need some major refurbishment. The carpets are old and grungy, much of the furniture is worn and permanently stained. In our upstairs family suite the carpets were kinda gross, the chairs stained the side tables worn and there was no ventilation (the windows wouldn't open). We finally got a window open, though the screen didn't completely cover the opening. We sweated through our first night as the Heatpump was somehow set on a program we couldn't defeat and blasted us with heat. We figured it out the second night.The shower was a miserable dribble, but got us clean.Even with all my complaints, we still enjoyed the stay. We rented at this location 25 years ago in a downstairs room and it was very nice. I don't think my statements apply to all the rooms.

Great, unique guest house for...

Liked: Lovely boutique guest house. Great location for exploring Cambria. We had a very nice family suite - nicely decorated and worked perfectly for our 1 night stay. Loved the happy hour in the bar - created a v friendly unique atmosphere- with guests socialising. A great extra touch
Disliked: Nothing

It’s a good deal and...

Liked: Christian was great! I have trouble with stairs and he was able to change our room, with an upgrade! Room was huge. Furnishings are eclectic. Nice little happy hour.
Disliked: The bed was a bit soft and pillows not to our liking. (We are fussy about pillows!)
