Very good

Liked: The property is lovely and very clean. The staff are very welcoming and their service was amazing. Food is amazing.
Disliked: Our extractor fan didn’t work in the bathroom, therefore steam and smells don’t disappear quickly. We were told they were on timers, but that said it never worked during our 3 day visit.

Liked: breakfast was very Good as was the evening meal. Location was very good for me as visiting a business just 5 minutes away.
Disliked: Breakfast could be served a little earlier. 7.30 can be too late for business travelers.

Would definitely stop here again.

Liked: Parking was excellent, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was basic but good and our evening meal and breakfast was really good.
Disliked: No complaints whatsoever. The hotel/pub was what I expected for the price we paid.

Liked: Clean and comfortable . Food ok.

A convenient place to stopover...

Liked: Bed was comfortable and tea/coffee making facilities fine. A good place to stopover if heading North as hotel is just off the A1. The included breakfast was freshly cooked and good value.
Disliked: Location of the room. Other rooms in the main part of the hotel might be better. Room felt basic. Set up for disabled people so bathroom was a wet room which meant floor got wet round the toilet and basin. Room was dark as only had a door window and opened out directly onto main thoroughfare into hotel.

Clean, friendly staff and good...

Liked: Good value for money. The staff are really friendly and pleasant. The hotel itself is really clean and serves good quality food in the bar area. I have stayed quite a few times as it is an ideal location for work and I always try and get in Reubens as my first choice. I have never been disappointed.
