Great stay. Fab staff

Liked: Spotless, lady receptionist or manager was so helpful ,getting us taxis to a local wedding ,very efficient and friendly .Bar staff too and the food was delicious .Thank you from the scousers.

Not the best

Liked: Easy booking on booking.com, though they were hacked by scammers, so beware .. staff on arrival pleasant and informative.Room clean, breakfast staff really attentive and breakfast was delicious and ample. Wishing the pros outweighed the cons ..but unfortunately not
Disliked: no WiFi as advertised, spoke to some unhelpful staff, first saying keep trying. Then another staff said ' it's not working and we've done all we can' - didn't even look at me when talking..no apology at all. Walked away as annoyed with poor service and didn't want to be a 'karen'!! Finally worked at breakfast as we were preparing to leave!! Wanted an early night as had long drive, but all we heard was the hand dryer in the bars toilets going on and off all evening. Avoid rooms 206-209, we had RM 207.Only one pillow per person, plus no curtains just Venetian blinds , had an outside light shine through the blinds all night then it was the sun's turn plus had the hall light coming around the edges of the door, got fa sleep.Will never recommend or stay again, very disappointed.. not worth £100 per night, plus room is a matchbox!

Great place, would recommend

Liked: Lovely establishment, wonderful and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and had a large shower and facilities. Had everything we needed for our one night stay. Breakfast was delicious
Disliked: Nothing the place can help, but close to road and sp traffic noise did make it a little hard to sleep. Take earplugs.

Great value stay for one...

Liked: Staff are very friendly and welcoming, food in the restaurant is good honest pub food.Powerful shower in the room
Disliked: Rooms could do with a refurbish. Slatted blinds at the windows not the best thing in the sumer with the long days.
