Liked: Lovely facilities and usually very helpful staff
Disliked: Usually, we have lovely stays here. Unfortunately, this time the breakfast ran out and we were told the dishes would not be replenished as it was nearly the end of the allotted session. We had been told breakfast was served until 10am, so we went for a swim first and arrived at 9.45.On arrival, there was a lot of confusion, with several guests also unhappy at being told breakfast had finished. Eventually, the manager arranged for some eggs to be made, which was appreciated. Most of the waiting staff were lovely, although one was rather stroppy.The manager explained this had never happened before, but that as it was a buffet, they couldn’t always gauge how much food people would take. We suggested that perhaps they consider stopping the buffet and going back to table service.When I raised the point of compensation, given we had paid for a full breakfast, the manager said they were completely separate from the hotel (which I find hard to believe). However, he did kindly offer us complimentary coffee and cake later, when my daughter joined us.

Had an amazing experience- everything...

Liked: Wonderful stay- celebrating friends 50th birthday. Fabulous accommodation, staff were brilliant, everyone made the stay special. Extremely pleased, will definitely visit again
Disliked: Everything was great.

Exceptional

Liked: It was everything we expected it to be! Would have loved to have stayed another night. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and facilities. A real retreat!
Disliked: Could have done with a mirror in the bedroom to use to dry hair.

Excellent hotel with great staff...

Liked: The staff were excellent throughout the hotel-from Jeanette on the front desk to Lucy in the restaurant, the gardeners, the cleaning staff -all exceptional. The food was great and the bar sensibly priced. It is a trip quality hotel with great facilities and a real sense that you are bing well looked after. And it was the best breakfast I've ver had at a hotel.
Disliked: Literally only one thing I can think of: lose the fake flowers around the entrance door.

Liked: Swimming outside at 7.30am
Disliked: Carparking was tight

£311 seems a lot plus...

Liked: excellent staff and ambience. Also the rooms were v quiet.
Disliked: no cupboards in my room and no air con plus I dont like internal bathrooms

Superb

Liked: The spa was exceptional and the outdoor pool was wonderful. Food was fantastic.
Disliked: They said we'd had an upgrade to our room, but I don't think we did. The room was tiny.
