Liked: Great location, great pool.
Disliked: No blankets on beds, minimal supplies, one tea towel, one bath mat, no hand towel, no internet, no pool towels, and no cooking facilities other than the microwave.

Not what we were expecting.

Liked: Great views of the bay
Disliked: We were looking forward to relaxing in the restaurant after a long drive and a couple of drinks by the pool. Restaurant was closed and no restaurants nearby to walk to, the place was unstaffed and the rooms had very creaky beds.

The location is good but...

Liked: I had a garden room, but on arrival, i noticed i could also see the ocean.The location was good.
Disliked: My room had some cobwebs.The door was very heavy to open and close.There was a lock missing to lach the door secure.Bed was squeaky and uncomfortable.The shower had very little water pressure.The spa didn't really have bubbles.The restaurant meals were overpriced, not consistent in serving sizes, and just disappointing.

False advertising

Liked: When checking into our room it was evident that the photos definitely didn’t match the room we were allocated. Despite the staff “upgrading” us to a more presentable room it hadn’t been cleaned properly with spiders and mould throughout.

Poor

Liked: When we arrived we had to collect keys from the restaurant. We were given keys and asked where the room was located. The staff did not know (not their fault as the restaurant is not run by the resort). We wandered around a bit, trying to find the room until someone who lived there helped us locate it (a map with the room highlighted might be a good idea). We booked a room with a twin bed and a queen. In the room was a queen and a pull out couch. When I contacted the phone number we were given, we were told this was the room, I explained that this was not what was advertised on booking.com, the pictures and description were different. I asked if there was another room and told they were fully booked, they could refund our money. We decided to stay as it was after 4pm on a Saturday in school holidays. In the room: no wifi, small outdoor area, not cleaned, wood from the lattice fence fallen off, chair pads on the ground. The pull out couch had no pillows or blanket. The hallways outside the rooms were not clean. The pool was a good size, and it was nice to have the bar looking out over the pool. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and food nice.

Bad

Liked: The property was filthy, no staff at reception waited 40 minutes to collect my key. The room was dirty, dirty floors, dirty bed linens, hot water took 20 minutes to heat up before you could shower. Half of the light and power points did not work.
