Liked: Room was lovely. We got there late, because had difficulty finding it. When we came back from lunch meet up (about 6pm) for a rest the television and bedside lamps did not work. No one on reception to report when we went out again. Plug in Bath did not come up for water to go away when shower used. Had to leave bath with water in. Not good. No one on reception in morning to take keys just left on desk. Lovely hotel, but little niggles. The TV and lights were working in the morning. Maybe someone forgot to switch power on when we arrived.

Well looked after but the...

Liked: It was a well set up hotel & everything was there for you.
Disliked: The waste pump in the bathroom kept going off day & night.Curtains fell down as soon as we closed them. Bed was uncomfortable.

Very good

Liked: I really liked the toiletries the White company flowers shampoo and body wash and hand soap. The room was clean. When I was going up to the room, the housekeeper saw me and helped with my suitcase.
Disliked: The walls are very very thin. My neighbors on the same floor came in late at night and were noisy and using the bathroom and you could just hear everything. I will say this is on the top floor and there is no air conditioning. The window only opens a partially so can get hot.

Liked: Welcoming and very pleasant. As well as my room I had access to a general coffee room and garden, and there were good books available too. The hotel is a short walk from the sea. The cake served on arrival was absolutely delicious.
Disliked: All fine

Perfect for a Channel crossing.

Liked: Good room and great location.
Disliked: Getting an early breakfast wasn't easy at all and not as described on the website.
