Liked: Very impressed with all the staff we came in contact with, especially Sulekha who was extremely professional and such a gracious personality!
Disliked: Very disappointed with the lack of car parking facilities!

Superb

Liked: Lovely boutique hotel in the center of Henley, with a destination-worthy restaurant. Exceptionally comfortable rooms with true air conditioning, which was bliss on a 90F day. Staff were very personable and helpful. Would definitely - indeed hope to - return in the near future.
Disliked: Lack of on-site or nearby parking is an inconvenience if driving, but I was able to drop off/pickup my suitcase by double-parking. Might be helpful to eliminate a couple of the parking places in the front to create a proper drop-off location. The walk to/from train station parking is a pleasant one, mostly along the Thames, so not a deterrent in my book.

Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: Great general location, comfortable and stylish room and public areas. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Food in the restaurant was excellent, but there was significant understaffing the night wears there, resulting in long delays for food and drink.

Clean and comfortable stay ....

Liked: Location , food and staff all good. The lady at breakfast was amazing . But was very over worked . She definitely needed some help . To tidy up tables when people had left . And could see she was struggling to do it all .
Disliked: A little tired in places . The disco lights under the out door canopy were never switched off so shined through the curtains at night . Room 804.Wasps were a pain when eating outside . The glass on the table outside our room was there for our duration .

We wouldn’t return

Liked: The double glazing was excellent, even though our room faced the main street we could open both windows and it was still quiet.
Disliked: . The drop off/parking was dreadful, we were aware that there was no free parking but narrowly avoided receiving a parking fine when arriving, no warning given by the Relais (thanks for this). Although we arrived for breakfast at 8.00, when the pleasant woman was scurrying about and obvs not organised, the scrambled eggs were Cold:

Disliked: No parking but available close by.

Quintessential English charm and comfort.

Liked: A property as charming as its location! The building is both historic, and luxurious, but understated.Really full of beautiful details with creative touches.Although the hotel is very central, it is quiet and discreet.There is no better location in Henley, at any time of the year.
Disliked: I couldn't find any room for improvement.
