The The Relais Cooden Beach is in Bexhill East Sussex - a unique award-winning hotel that is located directly on the beach. Just take a step from the terrace to start a wonderful walk along the coastline! We're offering a range of accommodations and dining experiences - including the Stylish Rally Bar and Restaurant. Wherever you choose to relax you are only a few steps away from the beach and there are no roads to cross to get there! Whether you are returning from a great day out saying 'I do' or finishing a meeting in one of our conference rooms you can enjoy stunning views while relaxing with a delicious meal. Once the redesign is complete all 45 rooms will have been entirely refurbished including five new Veranda Suites with private terraces. A number of new public spaces and dining concepts which reflects the relaxed yet sophisticated new interiors and style of the hotel are now revealed. Our Leisure Club will remain closed for the refurbishment and we look forward to revealing our new wellness center and treatment rooms later in the year. Our The Rally Bar and Restaurant is open for breakfast brunch lunch afternoon tea and dinner. There is also a Beach Terrace and Cafe Bar which are great spots for an informal drink and bite to eat. Sea Cottage treatment room is located adjacent to the hotel and offers a full range of treatments. If you are a golfer you will love our neighboring Golf Club - an 18-hole Lynx course that is well known in East Sussex. We would love to host your wedding at the hotel. Whether your day has a beach theme a traditional feel or a bespoke style of your own the views across the sea will create a special ambiance. Recommend as you can’t beat...

Liked: Very comfortable bed, despite being on the car park end of the hotel, I slept quite well. Food was very good, view from the restaurant and hotel stunning. The staff were very friendly and polite, hotel is great location, next to train station and free car park. Overall very happy and would stay there again.
Disliked: Would have loved a table on both sides of the bed, more ventilation than just a fan and sometimes the service when ordering food or drinks was very slow. Also would have loved a little fridge in the room.

I’m glad I made the...

Liked: It’s location, try ight on the coast was ideal and it has to be the most comfortable room I’ve stayed in for a long time!
Disliked: Slightly noise with the railway so close

Venue great, service excellent, bedroom...

Liked: Close to beachfront and lovely views directly from patio to shoreline. Close to my office. Plenty of parking so I didn’t have to worry about where to park. Good food and service was excellent.
Disliked: My bedroom was awful. I am disabled and struggle with stairs. Thankfully staff moved me from second floor to first floor but still difficult to climb. No lifts. My bed was a single and it was so small my feet hung over the end of the bed. It was a hot night but radiator was on so slept on top of covers. I feel like I had been put in staff quarters rather than activity hotel. I love the venue but would never stay over again. My room was a complete disappointment. However room was nice and clean.
