Very good value and will...

Liked: Room was large and comfortable bar and restaurant area very good. A band was playing and there was live Premier League football on TV. Good ale at the bar not your usual naff cream flow and lager which chain hotels always seem to have, the Doombar was well kept and lovely to drink.
Disliked: Nothing really

Liked: Nice hotel and really good location, a little outdated in terms of the furniture but still clean and comfortable
Disliked: Stayed here two years in a row and both times I have received a parking fine. Both times I paid £10 at reception and they noted down my number plate but fines still came through in the post a month later.Very frustrating, not sure if receptionist isn’t passing details onto parking company.

Disliked: Window didn’t shut properly Cory all arounf the room bed was on wheels so moved and mattress fell off every time we was in bed or sat on it, dirt all over the room stains everywhere bin had all dirt and old rubbish in it and kettle was dirty

Satisfactory as close to Cranmore...

Disliked: Room too hot despite having window wide open other room 142 shower stuck on scalding, pillows flat. We stayed last year and noticed a decline in state of some parts since, looking very shabby.Public areas nice, bedrooms and bathrooms in need of some freshening up.

Run down and budget

Liked: The location was ideal for us as we were exhibiting at Cranmore park. The breakfast is ok.
Disliked: The beds were awful. Mattresses were not fully secured (and no locks on divan base wheels) so moving constantly throughout the night. Mattress quality extremely poor, cheap and uncomfortable you can feel every “spring”. Pillows were flat.The room was covered in historic cobwebs and was simply tired and run down; dusty, peeling paint, cracked tiles, filthy extractor fan, previous guests hairs in bathroom and on bed. Cleaning of this hotel is subpar.On the second night the duvet smelt like historic body odour, which was truly horrific. But with our room being so far from reception and being exhausted from setting up for our exhibition event, we did not have the energy to complain. En-suite bath drain clogged so you get to stand in a couple of inches of water whilst you shower.So budget with barely any basic facilities (sanitary bags, personal hygiene boxes, slippers, variations of tea in room etc)
