Overpriced and Overrated – Not...

Liked: The laundry.
Disliked: This hotel markets itself as 5-star, but in reality, it delivers a 3-star experience at best. Aside from the lake view — which is pleasant but far from exceptional — there’s little to justify the $700 per night price tag.The breakfast was extremely poor. Guests are crammed into a small room not designed to handle the number of people staying. The food options were minimal and substandard — frozen waffles, supermarket pancakes, and cold hot dishes. Scrambled eggs were unavailable for over 20 minutes, and replenishment across the board was slow. You even have to pay extra for a barista-made coffee — completely unreasonable at this price point. The rooms offered no amenities: no bottled water, no shower cap, no toothbrush, etc or anything resembling luxury. My first room had a view of a dull grey building. To upgrade to a lake view, I had to pay an additional $150 per night.Staff at reception were polite but disengaged. The manager, in particular, was arrogant and dismissive, making it clear that because I booked via Booking.com, she didn’t feel much responsibility. It felt like second-class service. The only staff who showed any genuine hospitality were the porters — they were excellent. To make matters worse, I accidentally left some documents in the room after check-out. I’ve contacted the hotel twice with no reply — a clear sign of how little regard they have for guest service.Overall, this hotel leans heavily on its view and forgets the basics of hospitality. Not recommended, and certainly not worth the high price.

Perfect hotel and will stay...

Liked: Such a beautiful hotel. The staff were amazing and helped us to our room, answered lots of questions, and managed a problem with the pre-payment on an expired credit card.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: Minimal relaxing space in the hotel other than adjacent to the reception, if the gym could be designed to have a view of the remarkables.

Very good

Liked: Views, staff very helpful, great rooms and free shuttle into town was great. Concierge were very helpful with ideas for tourists
Disliked: The food in the restaurant could improve for the price and to match the luxury feel of the property. Also a better equiped gym would make the stay more exclusive
