The Redwood Riverwalk Hotel

Other than the spider bites,...

Disliked: The shower floor was very slippery and apparently there was a spider in my bed and while I was sleeping it bit me six time on my left lower leg. I fold the bits the next morning and over the course of the next few days hurt and spread around the bits.

Disappointing but clean

Liked: The room was clean and smelled clean.
Disliked: A bit of a dump place, weeds all around the complex, breakfast was not appetizing, the emergency number given was not answered (but they did text afterward) and tthe response from the text was "who is this? My phone" won't let me answer or something like that. There was a previous blood drop stain on one of my pillow cases, etc.

Liked: What I liked about this place was the friendly staff and the quick, easy check-in and check-out process. The shampoo and conditioner provided were surprisingly excellent for a motel, especially for long and thick hair.The heated pool with extended hours was a great way to unwind after a long day of travel. The complimentary breakfast included fresh fruit—like oranges and apples—which was a nice, refreshing treat.They also have family board games available in the main room/office, a nice touch. The room was fine, with a big television with great channels.
Disliked: What I didn’t like was how busy the place felt—there were constantly people coming and going, which made it feel less relaxing. It felt more like a standard motel than a boutique experience.The pool, while appreciated for its extended hours, seemed a bit dirty, with a noticeable ring of grime—though the surrounding murals were a nice touch.The breakfast was mediocre at best. The bagels and cream cheese were fine, but I wish the coffee had been better—though I understand that’s often the case with complimentary offerings.Expected more for the cost!

Superb

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was very warm and was surrounded by cool murals. There was a nice outdoor seating area.
Disliked: The pool was a bit murky.

Pleasant

Liked: The breakfast was ok. There was a pretty good variety.
Disliked: The dog area was awful. It hadn't been cleaned or garbage dumped gor a long time. There were no waste bags. The dog area is one of the reasons I've always picked Redwood Riverwalk. I'll probably think twice before staying here again.

Disliked: The pet area was completely ran down which has always been a main reason I always go back to stay at riverwalk and after this trip I’m not sure we would go back.

Good location for a short...

Liked: The biscuits and gravy were good. The eggs….not so good.It’s a good breakfast to take advantage of if you’re wanting to hit the road early.Coffee could’ve been stronger.It’s a “no thrills” location, but it is clean and quiet.
Disliked: The quality of the bath towels should be improved.
