Staff was EXCELLENT! Outstanding service.
Disliked: Service elevator near our room was noisy. Had to use the back stairs to the rooftop. They need a good cleaning if they must be utilized. Overall good overnight stop.

Disappointing
Liked: Not much.
Disliked: Dining room closed. Pre-packed stuff available in a dinky, little room off the main desk. Expected a nice breakfast. Homeless people in and out of the lobby.

Liked: Staff was helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast location was very uncomfortable with just high stools to sit on. Food was just ok.

Overpriced but nice

Disliked: The price. It was 405 for the room for one night and there wasn't even a mini fridge. Nice place but they prices were ridiculous.

Beautiful hotel in a great...
Liked: it?s a beautiful hotel in a great location
Disliked: I have vitiated BHM and The Redmont Hotel many times in the past 5 years. This time, the staff was lackadaisical, un-informative and at times unresponsive. The bell hops insisted they walk us to our room when the next day at check-out another bell hop told us that wasn?t necessary. No one told us about the rooftop bar and the casual breakfast spot was a disappointment when the cafe barista said he did not know how to make an iced latte and was generally uninterested in serving us, as was the manager on duty. The service was just very disappointing. I hope they make some changes soon.
