Disliked: Tea and coffee tray was very poor no mugs had to ask for some to be brought to the room over half a hour later they did arrive, also for the price paid for the room I think they could at least provide biscuits and more than two teabags .

Quirky pub in convenient location.

Liked: Good atmosphere and nice staff. Great pizzas and breakfasts. Good shower & comfortable bed.
Disliked: Wifi not strong. Bathroom needed redecorating.

Liked: We have stayed here a few times and it’s always lovely. It’s perfect for visiting my daughter and my grandson.
Disliked: We stayed over a Christmas and was informed that a breakfast box would be made up, for us ready for Christmas morning breakfast. I have to say this was very very disappointing. A few chocolates, sausage roll and 2 pastries is not a breakfast. It would have been far far better to have had the breakfast deducted from our bill. This not a complaint against the staff, as our breakfast is always top notch here. And is throughly enjoyed. This also won’t stop us staying here again. But maybe it’s something that needs to be addressed for Christmas Day breakfast

Perfect place for a short...

Liked: Staff were really attentive and friendly, food was really good and well presented. Rooms were quite big, warm and clean. Easy to find and great location for access to main roads and also if wanted to just go for a walk around. Eclectic style with lots of old memorabilia with an old world charm
Disliked: Lack of wardrobes or drawers in rooms meant couldn't unpack as no nowhere to hang or store anything, however felt there was room to have them. Due to weather unable to sit outside but options to sit somewhere that wasn't taken by diners meant for residents, not easy to relax if only wanted to sit in bar and chat or have a drink till quite late in evening.
