Great stay for weary walkers,...

Liked: Great welcome for us and our dog. Lovely room.
Disliked: Breakfast not offered, but we knew that and there were breakfast cafes nearby.

Liked: Loved this pub, perfect for a stay after walking the Thames path from Kemble. Great staff, food was amazing and good drinks selection. Our room was lovely and very comfortable.
Disliked: Only issue we had was that it could have been a little cleaner (bedside lamps were very dusty, floor was pretty grubby and also looked like someone had used the toilet in our room and not flushed). The other issue was that the room is right next to the beer garden and as windows are very old you can hear absolutely everything so didn't get much sleep given the amount of noise going on that went on way beyond closing time. Would still recommend overall though

Disliked: Room was extremely cold; too cold Heating was ineffective.Poor quality shower.

A nice spacious room but...

Liked: Good location, staff were very friendly. Room was very spacious and clean.
Disliked: We couldn’t get the room warm enough. It was a big room with just one radiator across from the bed. There was a small electric heater which after being on for a while started sparking so had to turn it off. The flagstone floor was lovely but too cold, as well as the single glaze windows. Overall, the room was not comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious but the shower over the bath tub was not great. There were two handhelds, one was either too hot or too cold, the other one was the wrong height and the water splashed all over the bathroom.
