Liked: The Red Lion Inn is fabulous, lovely room, friendly staff and really great food.The bar with roaring fireplace was very welcoming and an added bonus.
Disliked: The overnight parking situation in Alnmouth is appalling and stressful. When I booked it on booking.com it came up under the search with free parking so we were disappointed when we arrived and more disappointed after receiving parking tickets. There is little information available about where and when you can park.

Perfect place for exploring the...

Liked: Perfect location for exploring Northumberland. Fantastic breakfast, great charm to the pub. The staff were great, friendly and attentive. Could not recommend highly enough.
Disliked: Nothing to improve.

Lovely place to stay in...

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely too, the choice was small, but that means you can make do it perfectly. It was quite nice ordering the night before so it was basically ready when you went down the next morning. The location was perfect, less 5 minute walk to the seafront. The location is also perfect for travelling to other areas around the Northumberland coast.
Disliked: The property looks to need some redecorating, but other than that can’t fault it.
