Disappointing

Liked: The bed had a good quality mattress so was very comfortable.
Disliked: The housekeeping seemed a little haphazard as there was a used towel hanging on the door hook when we entered the room and a layer of dust on the lampstand. The room was over the bar which was noisy and when a heated argument at 1.15am awoke me I told the people to be quiet. There was silence thereafter but I felt uncomforable having to ask.. The couple running the inn that weekend were trying their best but they didn't know the rooms and breakfast was rather basic. Hopefully our experience is a one off.

Liked: The room was clean and quiet. Prices in the bar were very good.
Disliked: Breakfast was plentiful but the yogurt was too thick and the bacon too hard. Parking was tricky

Exceptional

Liked: We stayed a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent supper and breakfast, very comfortable bed, cozy room and all of the staff made it a lovely home away from home.❤️
Disliked: Nothing.
