The Read House Hotel

Liked: customer service good at registery and guys at valet
Disliked: The bathtub in the room was very slippery and felt dangerous - we think a no slip mat would have helped. We could not take a shower.

At $145/per night, breakfast and parking should be included.

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Excellent, pretty location. Extra plus for the Starbucks in the lobby area!
Disliked: No complimentary breakfast which is normally served as part of your stay at other hotels. Valet to park at the hotel was $15 per night extra. Never heard of that.

Liked: Great; friendly staff always! We loved staying at the Read House.

Exceptional

Liked: We love staying here. There were a couple of conventions, so it was super busy. The room was nice and clean and quiet. The price to stay seemed high to me for mid week. The staff are all really nice. We love the little bar. Really good cocktails and service.
Disliked: The shower. Water puddled in the bottom.And the temperature and pressure could have been better.

We have stayed twice because...

Liked: There is not daily breakfast. A nearby Starbucks hardly suffices.
Disliked: No Restaurant for breakfast and lunch.A chair in our room would have been nice!Bathtub/shower needs updating.Bathroom was huge ;needs a double sink vanity!Bathtub is OLD.

Exceptional

Pricey but worth it for...

Liked: The nostalgia was excellent. The room was clean very roomy. We used room service for dinner and while it was a little on the expensive side, it was very good quality, but not overpriced considering its room service. Valet parking was reasonable
Disliked: Nothing

Classic Old hotel brought up...

Liked: Location was great as you could walk right out the door and have a nice stroll. The hotel itself is a classic and the scale and decor were much appreciated after nights at Marriot's on our cross country drive. The staff was exceptionally sweet. overall a terrific experience.

Beautiful Hotel in the heart...

Spendid stay in an incredible...

Liked: The Read House Hotel is spectacular and we stay here every time we are in Chattanooga which is twice a year. The hotel is so elegant and the staff are top notch!
Disliked: Not a thing!

A fantastic place with beautiful...

Liked: Stylish hotel, with great staff and fantastic rooms with a beautiful view. Dog-friendly and very welcoming! I will come back to Chattanooga just to stay in this place.
