Liked: The pool area, spa and service at the pool bar were great. Harvest restaurant was a good experience as well.
Disliked: The overall feel of the property which was more of a golfing camp/lodge and was not what I was envisioning for the price point. The road to get to the ranch and the 'walkway' to the public beach leave more to be desired from a over $1000/night. The appearance of the cabins are again lacking for the price point. The website description of the multiple dining options is misleading, as there is really only two accessible options - grab and go, and Harvest. The staff were less helpful, having to ask for basic requests more than 4 times (e.g., extra blanket in the room).

Coastal Canyon Retreat Perfect for...

Liked: The coastal canyon setting was beautiful. The ocean breeze rustles the leaves and birdsong fills the air. The spa was relaxing and luxurious. The rocking chairs on the patio are a nice spot to savor an afternoon cocktail. Harvest restaurant had delicious food and attentive service. Staff was friendly, and the snack shack had tasty grab and go goodies. The room was nicely appointed and clean, with a comfortable bed.
